looking for someone who knows chinese/mandarin/cantonese to directly translate some words for me and possibly help me create some chinese/mandarin/cantonese names for ocs!
i took a mandarin class in middle school so i know that the language has some differences that could lead to unintentional misunderstanding if i were to just look up how to say/spell a word then slap it with another one. like i don’t wanna accidentally say a slur or bad word when i’m trying to be clever or add a hidden meaning behind an oc’s name (ie naming a bunny human “snow rabbit”) but end up accidentally naming a chinese inspired character a curse word lol
if you’re interested in helping a bro out pop over to DM’s and send me a message! i currently don’t really care about how it would be written in chinese/mandarin/cantonese characters just how it would be spelled with the english alphabet!
