And honestly? Good on him for making the China tariffs worse. Alone out of all the nations targeted, we actually do need tariffs on them, because it's the fastest way to force a decoupling of our economies. We're never going to be able to manufacture everything we need on our own, but we're already fully capable of buying it from countries that aren't them. And we need to. As soon as possible. Because if war ever does break out, the more we rely on them the more hurt we'll be before a shot's ever fired. And as for the rest, we have no business giving Xi Jinping more money to arrest Hong Kongers protesting for democracy and then make them "commit suicide in prison", to throw Uyghurs into re-education camps and forcibly eradicate Tibetan cultural identity. The less of our money that helps fund that shit, the better.
