Let me start this by saying I love Chipotle. I love the food I love the concept I even like their employees most of the time. There is one sore point, though. Whenever I go into Chipotle always asking for extra meat and occasionally I'll try to get guacamole. The problem comes when I say "Put chicken on it." and they give me a scoop of chicken and then I say "Hey let's make it double meat." and then asked me "It's extra, is that okay?" I say "Sure." and then they proceeded to give me another half scoop of chicken. It's one thing when the skimp on a topping but when I'm paying extra I expect to get a full serving. The same thing is true of guacamole. It really annoys me that they make sure I'm willing to pay extra for it and then they do two things. First they leave bubbles in the guacamole and then as if that wasn't enough they take their scoop and scrape about a half an ounce of the top. I've decided that because they are taking a 12th of my guacamole I'm going to take a 12th of their income so I've decided that May is going to be "No Chipotle May". I'm hoping to get like-minded people who are also annoyed by Chipotle's guacamole denial strategy too also boycott Chipotle in May. The first year this will be done is in 2017. And it'll happen again every year after that, unless they pay attention. If you agree with this, please repost this blog.
