The Six-Eared Macaque, one of the four spiritual primates in Journey to the West, who is equal in power to Monkey King. The Six-Eared Macaque successfully impersonates Monkey King and tries to take his place, and no one can tell them apart.

Monkey King and the Macaque come to battle, but as they are so evenly matched neither can overcome the other. It is only after Buddha traps the Six-Eared Macaque beneath a golden bowl that Monkey King is able to slay him.

My Oc Zhiyuan (Luán) If you don't understand why he has two names it's because Luán is his real name and Zhiyuan is the name that his uses for him human form. Who is also Chinese 🇨🇳 He is a Huli Jing which is a fox spirit it's from Chinese folklore that can shape shift. He is a mischievous evil trickster and he lives in abandoned temples temporarily but he mostly lives in villages. With a false identity of course. He's pansexual and has TONS of lovers but no children. He actually has two black arms that hide in his body that come out of his waist and he has a red chain he uses on bigger opponents and mortals. He's 500+ years old that comes from the Ming dynasty. He likes to play old Chinese games with you and will sabotage you or maybe end you or eat you. He's unpredictable. And he's not someone you can trust. Also he is originally from Diyu which the Chinese hell. I would consider him trans or just a femboy but idk.😅🏳️‍⚧️ He sings and he is flirty but, he can't really keep a lover. Anyways I think that's all thank you for reading his lore.

Monkey King stealing the Banana Leaf Fan from a drunken Bull King Demon. The fan belongs to Bull King Demon's wife, Princess Iron Fan. That story was adapted into China's first feature length animated film, Princess Iron Fan in 1941, and in live-action by Shaw Brothers in 1966.

There's this story from a 志怪小說(zhiguai) classic 《搜神記》(In Search of the Supernatural)" by 干寶(Gan bao) :

During the Yongchang(永昌) era of Emperor Yuan, there was a man named Ren Gu(任谷) from Jiyang(暨陽, Southern Jiangsu in modern days). One day, while plowing his fields, he rested beneath a tree. Suddenly, a person clad in feathered garments appeared and had sexual intercourse with him. When it was over, the mysterious figure vanished without a trace.

Thereafter, Ren Gu became pregnant. After several months, when the time came for him to give birth, the feather-clad person returned. Using a knife, the stranger cut open the area beneath Ren Gu's genitals, delivering a snake offspring, and then departed.

From that time on, Ren Gu became a eunuch. He went to the imperial court to report what had happened and was subsequently retained to serve in the palace.
