Beautiful insects. The Chinese Spotted Lantern Fly species has invaded New York City. Only two days ago I spotted two alive and one dead. One of them squared off, she never saw her family again. The other one flew next to me and was silently squeezed. And the last one was terminated by a bike. • I’m not the kind of person to hurt a living being like that, but it was them or humanity. Although humans are trash and some of them should be crushed, I chose to annihilate the invader. Crops gotta be protected apparently.
