I don't want to scare anybody, I am still very much enjoying working on this story and intending to finish it, I just wanted to make it clear that demanding updates from any fanwork creator (and implying that their art is amateurish and therefore should be made faster??) is not only- hopefully unintentionally- rude but a pretty surefire way to demotivate them! I'm lucky in that I have very sweet and lovely people supporting and encouraging me, so I'm able to laugh about asks like that, but it feels like a good teaching moment for people who might be new to fandom spaces.
