Pterodactyl Squad are very pleased to welcome back Please Lose Battle, the chiptune/power pop/math rock band from Clermont-Ferrand, France. We released their debut EP, back at the start of 2014, and eight years later here we are again - NES 2A03 soundchip, live bass and killer drums, amazing visuals, higher production levels and, frankly, their strongest release to date. It's colourful, cheeky and supremely catchy, so please enjoy these tunes and purchase some physical merch to take home a piece of this landmark EP for yourself.
No, it's not so I am not the weaker one when I'm here on my own Now, here I go Bite your tongue when you see all I've ever known

Year of the Frog is something a little different from me. I consider this an anthology, a collection, or a celebration of my music up to this point in my life. This is a large collection, including recent works and many past unreleased tracks. Some written as part of daily / weekly VGM writing prompts, others as spontaneous 1 hour compositions, and others still as one-off tunes that haven't had a home until now. Included are some FM chiptune-inspired tunes, mellow chillout grooves, high octane arcade style jams, and experiments writing music for what I think might be an RPG that only exists in my head. I wanted to show my versatility with this collection, and also finally get this music out there to the world. As an artist it can sometimes be hard to release things, as it may not be up to some arbitrary standard we set for ourselves. The truth is, we are always improving, learning, and growing every day we engage with our craft. I no longer want the idea that I'll be better tomorrow to stop me from doing something today. At first glance this may seem like a bit of an odd mix, but to me each of these songs tells a small story. I hope others can listen to some of these songs and imagine their own stories to go along with them. Thank you all for listening to my music over the years, I hope to continue writing for years to come. All the best, - Jordancreditsreleased May 19, 2021
