The Big Dawg Burger - Whiskey's Steakhouse - Boston
Review
After a day of fun Memorial Day shopping and a Boston Duck Tour I was dying to eat. Now originally I said I would choose from three locations. The only issue was due to poor planning on my part, the restaurants were nowhere near the side of town I was on. I couldn't wait too long to eat so I decided to stop at this bar called Whiskey's on Boylston St. Starting off the service was unusually slow for some reason(not good) but I chose to stick it out and order the Big Dawg Burger cooked medium well.
It's your typical burger topped with Applewood-smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, fried onion strings, and spicy blue cheese chipotle dressing. I can safely say that they have the best bar burger in Boston that I have had(sorry Casey's). The chipotle dressing was good, onion strings not overcooked and crispy, and finally CRISPY BACON!!! Do you know how hard it is to find a burger that doesn't have soggy bacon?!? Delicious burger and I ate every last bite. The curly fries were your typical fries but I wish I would have some of that chipotle dressing on the side for dipping.
Whiskey's doesn't have the best service but their food is very cheap and delicious. They are always running specials so check out the place if you're near Copley station and are in the mood for some good bar food.
