Chipshoplock headcanon:

Chip's shop is called "Chip's"  but people who don't know his name think he not only doesn't know how to pluralize but is dreadfully unimaginative.

Then one day when Sherlock is in putting up yet more shelves, he tells him, "Just change it to Chip's Chips."

It's triple portions from that day forward.
