What if Grace is the Light(?) in the blood ocean
Like, walk with me here, grace dies during the fishing scene and the combination of a lot of things (grace's blood/life, astrophage and the whole fishing theme) combine to make the ocean, maybe rocky dies too and becomes the moon itself, and now they're just hanging out in space not fully aware of anything other than that they do not want to die
Another idea to go along with this was if the horrid amalgamation that is the eel it all started with two human bodies, Yao and Ilyukhina. Maybe all they all want is for everyone to be safe with them
What if when Simon gets consumed/dies by the light he ends up (a) in the biodome on erid, alive, scaring the shit out of grace (b) shows up during the really rough part when grace is injured and helps grace out in his delirious injured state. (this is personally just cus i don't like rocky being hurt) Either way grace nearly dies and is a sort of wormhole between the living and dead stars
Idk i'm very tired, it's late but i just needed to get it out. You can use this idea if you want, all of it or just little bits, doesn't matter to me
