Second iteration of the interlude track. And everything changed. New program that I never used before, new song structure, new mood. Still gravitated towards the chiptune type sound of course. I might have ABSOLUTELY gone overboard with the drums but I had fun at least. Still pretty different from what will end up on the album.

(the main melodic parts of all three of these tracks is based on a single arpeggio in the fourth part of the five part, 12 minute final track of the album. fun facts!)

I swear I knew what I was doing when I started this project... oh well. The first half sounds cool!

(Used FL Studio again. Still using the demo since I don't tend to work on a project for more than one sitting yet. Learned that if you crank up the "velocity" dial on the FL Keys plugin it makes this cool chiptuney keyboard sound.)

oh man I thought they weren’t going on newstands until the 11th. Now I gotta go run to the book store and look for one!

I actually got it while at the grocery store so they may have just released it early. Barnes and Noble didn't have it the other day when I was there, but it can't hurt to look!
