Our little munchkins from Nursery and PPI were taken on a fun field outing to the dinosaur park. They were curious to explore a new animal, understand different types of the same and asked questions to know more.
Continuing their art and craft activity from yesterday, students of PP1 added handmade paper birds to the nest they created. Students were introduced to an art software called Tux Paint and were made to colour a hen on screen. Later, they were made to blend and read a few words during the reading session.
Nursery children learnt a fun and interesting concept at school and were introduced to an activity that helps develop their literacy and cognitive skills, it was to understand the difference between heavy and light with the help of hands-on activities.
Ms. Shruthi, Aarush’s mother from PPII narrated a few stories to the class as part of CHIREC’s weekly parent-student interaction, students enjoyed listening to the story. Later, kids were also seen during the art and craft session, making penguin related craft work.
PPI students were involved in making a nest craft using a paper plate and a few black paper pieces during their art and craft session. On the other hand, during their literacy session students were introduced to the letter Bb and some activities around it.
Nursery students had a fun time colouring the picture of a bird during their art and craft session. Students were also introduced to number 7 with the help of a snow white story and were made to participate in a few activities during the numeracy session.
The students of Nursery, PPI and PPII dressed up in their favourite party attire and had their favourite snacks together to celebrate the New Year class celebration.
