Just when it seemed all was lost, and that Ma and Pa had control over the fate of Shuggazoom and Monkey team, something unexpected happened.

The magic emanating from the Skeleton King's skull was enough to awaken Nexus from his trance, but it also awakened an uncontrollable hunger for power.

In a fiery rage, he overcame any obstacle just to gain control of the skull. And once he managed to obtain such a vast source of power, Nexus ended up transforming into what the heroes feared.

The monstrous spawn of the Skeleton King.

Baby Time III

Nightmares

Doesn't it happen to you that you want to capture an idea, but you realize that you can't transport that idea to paper? This is what happened to me these days xD But I finally got around to making this little comic about a little moment in the life of cybermonkeys shortly after taking Jasper.

During the first few years, Jasper has had nightmares but the fact is that they are actually memories (not so clear) of what Chiro's last moments were like, the baby has no idea what is happening or because he feels too afraid, he only believes that those he sees in his dreams are the ones who will keep him protected.

(Yes, the first page is in English and the others in Spanish xD, the languages got mixed up)

Gibson: What happened!?

Nova: I don't know! He just... He had never cried like that!

Gibson: Hmm... He has high stress levels, it must have been a nightmare.

Nova: Nightmare? Can babies have nightmares?

Gibson: Until a certain age. For now we have to keep it relaxed. (...)

Nova: Looks like he wants you to carry him.

What if...

I just watched the episode where the team meets that other team of frogs and at the beginning of the episode, Gibson explained that the Super Robot could travel through dimensions (or wormholes, I don't remember) and I just imagined what would happen if perhaps the team ends up accidentally traveling through space/time and Jasper ends up falling into a dimension, which is where the events of the series take place, therefore, he ends up running into Chiro alive and Antauri being the silver monkey.

(It's not part of the story, I just wanted to draw this)

Nexus origins

Sometimes, it only takes one action, one event, or one different act to change the entire course of a life.

The life of Nexus was given to the Skeleton King by the Skeleton Circle, with the desire to provide a vessel for the Dark One growing within the planet, and thus usher in a new era of darkness.

However, some things changed due to the intervention of the Hyperforce, and without his Master, Nexus will have to find his way, following the destiny that was shown to him.

(Nexus is pretty much what Jasper would have been if the Skeleton King hadn't gone straight to where the egg was, and had reunited with his followers a little while earlier)
