“Zack, there's no need to scream, I'm gonna be okay, really!” Milo reached forward to put his bloody hand on his friend's shoulder, but thought better of it.
“YOUR- YOUR EYE! IT’S- Oh my god, I'm gonna be sick.” Zack clutched his stomach, looking everywhere but at the bloody gash on Milo's face.
“Zack, breathe.” Melissa patted him on the back while opening Milo's backpack and rifling through it to find some bandages. “It's not like we haven't been through this before.”
“You- What?!” Zack gaped at her. “Does this happen often?!”
