Thank you! I'm glad you think so! (And your grammar was perfectly fine!) I've been drawing for a longgg time, years upon years, and I'm really still in the works of finding 'my style' as you can say. I'm still testing things like brushes, things that make me draw faster, makes my process easier, etc!

But for me, it was mostly just about what I found easy to draw. What style my art naturally went to when I was doodling y'know! For me personally, that was a more cartoonish style. I have tried other styles but this is just what I think suited me best. There's a lot of aspects when it comes to finding your own style.

So, the short answer would technically be years! XD

I'll give a few tips for anyone who's trying to find their style and wants them under the cut!

Mainly just steal <3 (half-joke) but really! See what you like about other artists' works and then incorporate that into your style!! Steal their fruits and make it a whole new smoothie of an art style that's yours <33

It's definitely important to be patient with yourself about your art journey though. Also the tips I gave are rather generic, finding your own style will take time! Especially when including aspects of others' art you like. It takes time to slowly mold those things into something that is 'yours'!

But it's mostly just trial and error!! And it's important to know that your style is subject to changing. You might draw in a completely different way in a year!! And that's okay! My way of drawing has changed a lot these last few months :) (i thank the ask event i held for that) so just keep that in mind!
