have any advice for someone wanting to move to new york?

you really just gotta jump in. find a sublet to ease into it (also then you have a way out if its not for you; you're not tied to a lease), come to terms with the fact that you will be spending more money than you make for a long while, visit every neighborhood you can, fall in love with the city, accept that you will probably cry on the subway at some point, and know that it'll take a while but know that one day you'll wake up and realize that suddenly being in nyc feels right

1. Do you have a favourite shirt? If so what’s it look like?

I go through phases with favorite shirts, but right now I think it's this blue button up blouse thing that looks perfect paired with a black blazer. 

2. You can only wear one colour for the rest of your life. What colour is it?

Black, probably? Or navy blue. Dark colors.

3. Name two of the most influential people in your life. (positive influence)

My best friend, Chris. The only influential person actively in my life. So I guess the second closest thing is Amy Poehler.

4. Favourite candy?

5. Pepsi or Coke?

I've always always always been a coke person, but I got addicted to the French Pepsi while being here. Though I'll go back and drink coke again, thankfully.

6. If you could go back in time and tell your child self one thing, what would it be?

Be strong because it's going to be a rough ride.

7. You can only watch 3 movies for the rest of your life. What three would you pick? (You can watch the three multiple times)

Oh no. This is not going to be accurate, but they're the first ones that came to mind. The Avengers, Starter for 10, Mamma Mia!

8. Bravest thing you’ve ever done?

I guess move to France for a year? Or move to Orlando knowing absolutely nobody.

9. One song you LOVE but are kind of embarrassed that you love it?

Idk I don't really get embarrassed about music that I listen to or anything. I don't really believe in guilty pleasures. I'm trying to think but I really can't come up with anything.  

10. Ultimate OTP? Why?

Ultimate? Luke/Lorelai from Gilmore Girls. The first tv relationship that took over my life. I think I was 12? I was watching the reruns on abcfamily at the time and I guess they were airing season 5 on the wb. I didn't really know how tv worked at the time. So the last episode that aired on abcfamily was the season 4 finale where they kissed and I freaked out. I was so excited to watch the next day to see what happened, but they showed the pilot and started the show over. And I was so pissed. I didn't understand and I was ranting to all of my friends. Everyone made fun of me in middle school for my gilmore girls obsession and I wouldn't have it any other way. To this day it's still my favorite show of all time and Luke and Lorelai mean so much to me.

11. Favourite song lyrics? (can be just one or two lines, or the whole song)

I don't know actually. There's so many songs and artists who are able to speak to me. Anything by Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, or Lauren Aquilina. I think right now their are two songs that hit me every time.

1. What is the most embarrassing story your family or friends can tell about you?

Well, this is hard. not because it's hard to think of a particular incident but because my friends and family have a plethora of options to choose from. lol .... um, they like the one about how I was walking in the mall and ran into someone and knocked myself over, immediately got up and started apologizing profusely only to find out I had walked into a pole...a pole to which I was apologizing...moral of the story? walk with your head up. :)

2. What did you do during your free time as a kid?

I spent a lot of time playing quietly in my room with my dolls/Barbies...or also playing the piano.

3. What colour are your eyes? Would you change them if you could?

Blue. Definitely. Always wanted brown.

4. What’s the best joke you know?

The HIMYM Finale. Biggest joke of them all. ugh. (I'm not still bitter...not at all)

5. Are you currently watching any TV shows you’d recommend?

STARGATE! Either SG-1 or Atlantis (It's a rewatch, but that counts right? If not, The Walking Dead...once you get past the stomach churning bits, it's a fucking fantastic show)

6. Favourite day of the week? Why?

Thursday. Contains all the hope of the weekend to come. Also because ...I don't even know. But I am very partial to Thursdays.

7. If you could turn any book/book series you’ve ever read into a film, which one would you choose?

I'm not sure I would do that to any book I truly love. It's very difficult to successfully make the transfer between the two and have it be... enjoyable. So...

8. Can you think of a time when you chose to stay silent rather than speaking out? Do you think you would say something now?

I can. And I think I've started to find that voice and actually use it. 

9. If you could have any animal as a pet (real or fictional) what would you have?

ELEPHANT! Omg, a wee bby elephant though. (Perhaps if we're talking fictional an elephant the size of a cat? Makes the food bills so much more manageable.)

10. My friend suggested I put a difficult mathematical formula as one of the questions. What would your reaction be to that?

Yay! Love Math! And numbers.
