Wednesday… shall we have coffee together??? Join me at 9am Chicago time. ☕️ let’s catch up!
I got told to shut up so much that I feel this on a personal level, due to my anxiety I overtalk very often.
Sometimes ending to be a blabber mouth, which I hate sincerely. But at same time it makes me appreciate whenever someone deliberately talk to me about their interests or stories or how their day went.
I love to listen because I know how good is to be listened!
❤️❤️❤️ never be ashamed to talk about your fave things ❤️❤️❤️
would anyone ever be interested in a dbd group chat/discord

I'm mostly guessing about the maladaptive part of it because while yes it got in the way, it was a good coping mechanism at the time and was really useful. Plus we readily forgot how to so we've had to relearn.
Our daydreaming was mostly one scene or a set of scenes leading up to a specific thing, we always had an end goal for what the daydream would include or end on.
I think our headspace changed drastically at some point, probably around the time we lost the ability to daydream, because it definitely wasn't always this big and *I'm* (Toby, not really anyone else because we have unspoken rules that I don't follow) still trying to figure it all out.
Banners and fireworks are a complete different skill set to everything else. There's a website you can go to to find readily made banner patterns (just make sure they're survival friendly, should be Planet Minecraft) but I have no idea about fireworks because we never use anything other than the ones in the inventory.
Definitely tough sometimes and easy others, almost all the others pride themselves in their legibility. They're all going to have carpal tunnel by the time they're 30. And me too because we share a body but it will be their fault.
We say it's a weird mix of dialogue and monologue because the brain, despite how separate it acts, will still layer the headmate in front over itself so while technically it's the headmate talking, it's actually the brain and we all know this so it's both dialogue and monologue.
We actually trained ourselves out of talking plurally and out loud even though it actually really helps, I'm not too sure why but I think it had something to do with our family making fun of it.
Most of our headmates have more sound based thoughts and so whenever a headmate who has garbled sounds (Glitch, as per his name) fronts there's at least a layer of static over everything. Usually you can hear the thought skipping and making weird noises.
Yep, that would definitely be the reason for making it for us. And would definitely be needed, we have that stuff mostly all written down already because we forget it so often. Now just to put it somewhere we don't need a phone to use.
Don't apologize for not responding earlier, it's no bother to us and we don't mind.
I guess since no one else could [referring to ourselves], I'll start putting sign offs because apparently we've forgotten about being separate. Mostly joking anger, anyway

We are trying to relearn how to daydream right now actually, any advice?
I wish you luck in figuring it out. We've mostly manually built our inner world from the ground up so I'm pretty familiar with it lol
Thanks, we'll check out that resource while decorating our world ^-^
We also trained ourselves out of using plural pronouns- both of our parents have told us we went through a phase as a kid where we did, they thought it was funny but my mom gently corrected my grammar until I stopped. And I just never thought anything of it because nobody ever asked why I was doing it so it never stuck out to me as anything lol And these days we just use them interchangeably, just whatever feels right. There is no rhyme or reason, sometimes we is me alone and sometimes I is the whole system or even someone else in the system whose memory I am stealing such as in the case of mom correcting our grammar, that is Cora's memory hahaha
Yoooooo that's sick as hell none of us think in sound, besides music being stuck in our head we actually mainly think in like, captions specifically? Like when we think we are seeing mentally the spellings of the words. But anyway sound, sounds so cool!
Good luck making your binder(s). And wish us luck as well! Haha
We forget sign offs all the time, who even knows who's in our head rn lol. Well I do right now specifically but in general.

Our headspace has just as many outside spaces as it does indoor spaces (maybe more at this point, I haven't been everywhere), combine that with an almost (our body's) lifetime of playing Minecraft and almost non-existent sims experience, you can see why we'd choose Minecraft.
We do most of our (mostly public) journaling digitally too, mainly on random things like Twinote, Antar, and some occasions obsidian and simplyplural.
My physical journal is mostly doodles too and I've allowed, about three people to write in it with me (my partners) so there are some conversations in there but it's mostly little drawings and random writing.
We have a few physical journals that are technically whole system but they aren't about anything specific and are mostly just ranting (which happens a lot with some members)
We have a digital page where we keep important information but you made us realize we should probably also keep a physical one. It's mostly body information like legal name, name most known by, age, phone number, etc.
We've wanted to get into scrap booking but we don't really have a lot of stuff for it. We have colored pencils and stuff so it's not that decoration is out of the question, it's more so the different textures which is the part we mostly like.
That's so cool, we are working on building outdoor spaces in our inner world, it's awesome you have so many.
I wonder how good we'd be at Minecraft rn if we hadn't rage quit so hard one day when we were 14 that we didn't play again for over 5 years. Way to end a hyperfixation lmfao
Digital journalling is just easiest because phone is always in your hand. Mine is at least. Hahaha
Physical journaling and doodling go hand in handdd one of my headmates requested a sketchbook instead of a journal even lol. That's cool that you have some convos in there! Oh man we were going through an old diary of ours recently and it is so funny how our stream of consciousness has almost always been a dialogue and we just never thought anything of it. We actually had to learn how to journal separately from each other, outside of when only one person is front. How to not butt in and start talking xD
Ranting is so real. We have multiple discord channels on our personal server just for ranting in LOL
Its good to have a physical one! We also plan to make a separate medical binder to bring to doctors appointments going forward.
*takes your hand* let's get into scrap booking together... I will get a binder and some sleeves and paper and glue, and begin transferring our memory box into it perhaps lol
