Not culture but I like the icon change, it looks nice! Though it's a little hard to see the arrow on dark mode but I don't think that's a thing to worry about honestly.

Now for a culture: Self diagnosis culture is your brain continuing to cycle back to the diagnosis/etc because your brain doesn't understand you're still in some denial

(to explain we say we're a non-disordered system and that all those symptoms are caused by something else but that's probably not true. Though we can't look into that at all because gatekeepers (as in the system role)

Self dx culture is no, I can't possibly have [this specific disorder] because it's always super serious and super disabling. What? You're saying it's not always super serious and super disabling? And that the symptoms are exactly what I have?

(this is about us and cerebral palsy, apparently we have mild cerebral palsy)

Self dx severe stpd during childhood but mostly* normal now culture is that one post that was like "Congrats you're no longer a monster! But you'll never forget the way they looked at you, will you?"

*mostly as in can hide it now

Self dx schizotypal culture is telling your sister that you have it (without mentioning the self dx part) and then going "oh..." Like it changes anything about your actions/behaviors (to be fair she said later {like right after} she was joking but still)

This is probably more saneism/ableism but I consider them to be very closely related.

Self dx NPD culture is at least one of your friends blaming abusers' abusive behavior on NPD / Narcissistic tendencies and not because they're doing it on purpose

I did not go through hell for you to say that abusive behavior comes with the disorder and that it only stops when they're getting therapy

Self dx culture is bad therapists immediately and repeatedly asking if you want a diagnosis when you've said that you just want to treat the symptoms
