THERE WAS NO SHAME, IN EVER ASKING FOR HELP FROM SOMEONE ELSE, THAT WAS THE ENTIRE REASON, FOR BEING A HERO, WASN’T IT. TO HELP PEOPLE.
She had sensed that something was amiss. All the time she could sense danger. It was always there, within herself. To hear the cries of half a world that needed her, always and yet … as a hero, she could only do so much, she could not be everywhere, at every single waking moment. She could not stop tragedy before it would strike, as much as she wanted it, as much as she wished that was possible, there was no blessing within the world that would let her know of events yet to come, of horror that would befall the world.
She could only act, after the fact, when innocent life had been taken and this, thankfully, was the rare time when she was here, before death had rained down onto the land. As she could hear it, the sadness in the air, the fear as well, she heard it all, every single waking moment, the cries of the dying and the desperate, perhaps that was why, she pushed herself so hard, why she pushed himself to fight, all the time, to try and make the world a better place, to be anything like the first sword saint, or in truth, all the others who had come before her… to protect the entire world, she would stop at nothing.
BE STRONGER, BE FASTER, BE BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE. BE THE SWORD SAINT. BE THE HERO, BE THAT PERSON WHO CAN PROTECT THE WORLD AND STOP THE MADNESS.
As she came to stop right at their side, blue eyes shifted and turned as hse looked ahead. Another calamity was growing right before her, another monster, another great terror that was going to threaten the entire world if it was allowed to continue, killing … was something … she loathed doing, but for the needs and wants of the people, with the world on the line, sometimes you had no choice as she glanced down at her side and saw that her blade remained still, not yet a time to remove it as she stepped forward once more, to stand before the beast.
“You did enough, but please don’t worry about me, it is sort of my job to do these sorts of things.” As she removed, a different blade, on the opposite side, just a standard sword, not a legendary sword, not crafted by an expert, just a sword, and nothing more than that as she held it within her hand. “You have done enough, please stand back a little bit and let me take care of this.”
