I met a new friend. @charliegracesmiles calls him “Buddy”. Buddy is a Chiweinie that showed up @hodgesvineyards malnourished and abused. One of caretakers took a shine to the little guy and now he is thriving and stays in the property as “dog in charge” and after hours “guard dog” Not all dogs in need wind up in Rescues. Many dogs in the rural areas are dumped and it’s up to locals to find and take care of them.
