Visited Yeoboseyo Korean Mart (another business of @thehungrysyrianwanderer) and definitely had a blast! From cereals (found the Doom at your Service Oreo Os) to Citron Tea, to Korean Spam, they have it. They also have condiments, sauces, mayo, seaweed, everything you need for DIY Korean cooking at home. They have a K-pop corner too where they sell unofficial merch. For their beverages, splurge on milk teas, Milkis, Binggrae milk drinks, and BTS Coffees! Have I mentioned their ice cream and frozen goods corner? What really caught my attention was that wall of noodles! They have all kinds! Don't fret if you are on a budget, they have these sale items too, right up front. Place was a bit smaller than expected but one can still freely go around and have a look at all that they sell. Will definitely go back for more Korean stuff. I am eyeing the big jars of Citron Tea and Korean mayo. Thia is right next to Yolo Retro Diner, in front of Zapote Bacoor Market. I like the location because it's just one jeep away from our place. Very accessible for Cavite peeps, as well for Las Piñas and Parañaque peeps like me. YOLO! That's "You only live once", folks! And since I have not been to this part of the South for a long time, I decided to visit Yolo Retro Diner in Zapote, Bacoor. This made me miss Baguio's 50's Diner and Makati's Filling Station so much. You'll like it here if you like the vintage American diner style as much as I do. Feast your eyes on their collection of vintage vinyls, all that Americana knick knacks, lots of Beatles, Bob Marley, and even Kiss, and the Coke/Pepsi postcards! (Disclaimer: I am not totally sure they're all aunthentic vintage, but I like how they designed the place). Love the pink seats too! Food was casual - burgers and fries, nuggets, fish and chips. I am no sure if they have milkshakes but they have milk tea! So I was a happy camper with my hotdog and fries plus milk tea. (little did I know, this would be my last fastfood for the week - more on that later.) Love the Hotdog sandwiches, very generous with the toppings, and they served it hot! With the Hokkaido Mik tea, not so much, I felt it was too sweet, and the pearls got a bit overcooked. Will go back to try more of the stuff on their menu, and maybe bring some burgers home to ghe parents since my Papa is a fan. @yolo.retroph is one of passion projects of famous YT Vlogger @thehungrysyrianwanderer 😊 The diner is located right in front of Zapote Bacoor Market. For ARMY Day, we got this limited edition ARMY Box from @keikookies.ph I must say each cookie is made with pure love for our boys and their songs. The owner is an ARMY herself, and you can feel the passion and dedication she has just by looking at each of these beauties. Each ARMY Box contains 7 decadent cookies. 7 cookies = 7 songs =7 boys. We got photocards as well! Yey for ARMY Day! 𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙛 - For the OG BTS song, here is an OG chocolate chip cookie. Love the brown butter cookie dough and dark chocolate chips. Very classic! 𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙎𝙚𝙚 𝙈𝙮 𝘽𝙖𝙜? - Yes, for Mic Drop, this red velvet cookie is a match! And guess what, she used vanilla bourbon cream cheese, with lots of white and dark chocolate too. That's a mic drop for me! 𝘿𝙤 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜 - Dark and purple, reminiscent of Black Swan, that's black cocoa dough with a dark chocolate center, dusted with purple sugar. Not as sweet as the other cookies but the dark chocolate makes this heavenly. Surprisingly, the kids love this cookie so much too. 𝙎𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙖𝙮 - Yep, those sugar flowers are definitely for the Queen. This is made from lemon cookie dough and white chocolate. I didn't know lemon and white chocolate can pair so well. One of my faves in this box! 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙 - You get a mouthful of salty and sweet, the best combo yet. And the best part eat, you get to eat gold too. Yum! 𝘿𝙮𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙚 - How fitting we get a Dynamite cookie, with pop rocks! The fizz is a perfect fireworks-in-your-mout experience! The kids love this cookie! 𝙈𝙞𝙠𝙧𝙤𝙠𝙤𝙨𝙢𝙤𝙨 - Blue and purple with sticky marshmallows and crunchy oat/cereals, it's even more perfect with a milky way center. I do believe in this galaxy - - in a cookie!
