today, my mum told me that "you should set boundaries so you don't get drained out easily by our family friends' toddler."
GUESS WHAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO DO
so, whenever i'd set boundaries, always goes a little something like this
"hey kid, i'm not comfortable with pretending to be your baby daddy."
"WHAT WHYYYYY???" and then she'd just pester me until i get too annoyed to disagree. I know kids are kids and they don't know how making babies work, but dude. She only knows about babies and being pregnant from youtube kids content, which is literally a cesspool of not-so-subtle fetish content with oversaturated visuals.
as i am writing this, i'll admit that it is very pathetic of me to let a little kid push me around (ate chlowhy the pushover lololol) but cut me some slack, man. I've dealt with children all day today with little to no help (though i'm very grateful for the help i did receive) and now you're adding to the pile.
sorry for whinging about it here but who else can i tell it to? My parents??? Those two would just tell me to communicate more even though they would just ignore me if i do.
