How does Bjorn & Ivar Celebrate the holidays?
Bjorn is my country boy with a mushy heart. He wants the country cabin, the roaring fire, and almost a ridiculous level of decorations. He thoroughly enjoys helping his woman put them up and will smile indulgently whenever she rearranges things just so for the millionth time. He likes late night walks, staying in bed too long in the morning, reading stories to her as she curls up next to him and large mugs of hot chocolate. He always gives his girl one gift on Christmas eve with the rest to come Christmas morning.
Ivar on the other hand has as few decorations as he could get away with and if left alone, won’t bother decorating at all. He is a bit of a grinch and the forced good cheer of Christmas grates on his last fucking nerve. He’d probably soften if he were in a happy relationship or had children but even then, it would be as his lover wanted, not because he was super keen on the holiday. He is a surprisingly good gift giver because he is very observant and knows what the people in his life really would like. But if he could, he’d talk his lover into a sunny getaway where they could simply pretend it is any other day while they spend all day on the beach and all night in bed.
