Chloe Wals [Хлоя Уолш]
Boys of Tommen [Парни Томмена]
Gibsie quite literally states one of his coping mechanisms in the first few chapters of Taming 7
"Being happy was a decision I made for myself and miraculously, it helped. I didn't truly feel that way but I was a firm believer in faking it until you made it. After all, I would be dead without the sentiment."
A repeat, "...I was a firm believer in FAKING IT...."
His trauma was not looked over, Gibsie himself looks it over BECAUSE he chose to and it's HIS pov we are reading...
You have to read this series! Consider it a sign!!!

This is what people fail to understand about Lizzie, we do not justify her behavior one bit but we understand because she has been out in a fight or flight situation where fighting makes her the villain and flighting will cause her to take her own life. She is just trying to survive.
Lizzie was brain washed and lied to and made to believe a lie by the thing (m#rk) that did all those horrible things to her. But instead of at least understanding her (you don't have to like her) people do the EXACT thing the people in the boys of tommen series do
Ignore. Redirect blame. Shame the victim.
It is saddening, because if this were to happen again irl that is exactly how people would react
