rereading THAT scene in r6 for ~research purposes and what gets me the most about it is that aoife and casey’s responses to katie crying are SO similar but at the same time SO different it’s FUNNY
aoife is like nooo bestie why you crying who do we have to fight?! yk like a normal friend
meanwhile casey goes all up in patrick’s space and says if you do not tell me what the fuck happened to her i will end your fucking life and your fuckass farm like CALM DOWN girl he’s just the messenger
they’re both protective but the way they show it is so them to their core, where aoife approaches her worried she’s still thinking rationally through it. casey is impulsive. while aoife’s logical side wants to make sure katie is alright first and for her to explain the situation, casey’s fierceness wants to hurry the fuck up with the questions and take action asap.
and then katie. katie, bless her heart, provides NO INFORMATION. that is so damn funny to me. she says it’s nothing. she says it’s fine. you see this girl? this girl does not like to say what’s going on. this girl could be abducted by aliens in the morning be freed in the afternoon and still show up to dinner later with no mention of anything that happened. and it makes casey SO FUCKING MAD.
katie probably saw aoife and casey outside her house and thought oh no now they’re going to ask questions. and they indeed asked questions. like yes katie they’re your friends if you’re crying they would like to know what’s the reason.
i love these girls. they’re so funny when they shouldn’t be and for what.
and what makes the scene even funnier is alec and podge just arriving at the worst possible time. couldn’t you wait a bit more to greet the girls and rant about the fancy car, i wanted to know what was going on.
