it's pretty rare for eiden to ignore his calls. he supposes, in hindsight, that it should've been a major red flag in itself, but the confirmation comes swiftly with a ping(!) accompanied by the man's obnoxious spitter username and a heavy use of caps lock.

Is that a RED chicken? it's pretty big to be one, isn't it? The poor guy looks a little frazzled. It reminds him of himself when he woke up in an unfamiliar area.

So, he may be a loud kid, BUT even Oliver Etidae can be calm and quiet! He knows JUST how to approach a frightened animal. He pulls out an apple he was saving for a late-night snack, "Hey--, hey, you're okay. Uhm..." he's careful to approach. Doesn't want to get STOMPED by those painful-looking claws. He's holding the apple up in the air for the creature,

"You hungry?"
