These Soft Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunkers combine creamy peanut butter with rich chocolate chunks. The cookies are soft and melt in your mouth, making them an ideal treat for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 cup creamy peanut butter. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 1/2 cups chocolate chunks or chips.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and well combined. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chunks or chips, distributing them evenly throughout the dough. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once completely cooled, store in an airtight container. Enjoy these delicious soft peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies!
