Indulge in the perfect combination of rich chocolate and refreshing mint with this easy two-ingredient fudge recipe. It's a delightful treat for any occasion, and you can customize it with optional toppings like crushed peppermint candies.
Ingredients: 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk. 1 teaspoon peppermint extract. A pinch of salt. Green food coloring optional. 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies optional topping.
Instructions: Line an 8x8-inch 20x20 cm square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. Stir in the peppermint extract and a pinch of salt. Add green food coloring if desired for a minty color. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top, pressing them gently into the fudge. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm. Once set, use the parchment paper overhangs to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut into squares or bars and enjoy your delicious chocolate mint fudge!
