Individualized ice cream and pie pairing fun at @honeycombcreamery with @elmendorfbaking: double chocolate ice cream atop rye-crust apple pie, and vanilla on strawberry rhubarb! 🌞 The ice cream is made onsite and has a unique and wonderful texture between hard-packed ice cream and softer gelato, and the rye crust is an exciting savory element of this fresh-baked pie. The mid-century modern aspects remind me of my grandparents' house, with a dash of elementary school library - antiques-filled spaces even then! :) - updated in a polished way!
