My two cents on this Emily Gwen thing is that yeah the accounts in question probably are the same person, I’ve seen this type of “holy shit you guys are soooo insane for thinking this is true *long winded excuse that makes no sense*” damage control before many times. I think Julia is likely setting things up to escape the Emily identity, pin all the blame on the Emily identity, and attempt to continue her grift on the basis of “Emily stole all my money”
I’m sorry but a book just can’t have one of those awful canva-ass romance novel covers AND fugly sprayed edges, the commodification of reading into another aesthetic collector’s club makes me insane
