REAL RECOGNIZE @davidchoe @choe_show #choeshow #technodrome1 #portrait #new #art #nycartist #graffiti #davidchoe
I’m excited to hear and see David Choe returning and being back in the limelight with the news of his latest project “The Choe Show”. DVDASA changed my life when I was a much younger person. David and his crew of friends and guests were one of my greatest influences that really opened my eyes as a youth about the world with a new and unseen perspective of life at a time when I unknowingly needed it most. Choe is a creative that I view highly for creating the magnum opus of podcasting, DVDASA, from my own personal perception. It was edgy, emotional, dark, humorous, informal- it was a podcast that had everything thanks to the efforts of everyone in that specific time and place of their lives. It created something beautiful that I was glad to be a part of in a modern internet-age that I doubt can be replicated today. I am glad to see that Choe is taking a risk and exposing himself to the public eye as an emotional and sensitive artist once again alongside the talents of Hiro Murai and more. There is so much talent in this lineup including the lovely Asa Akira, Denzel Curry, and more. As a fan, I hope Choe is not concerned about the troubles that have haunted him in prior years and those that he has revealed. I would love to see Choe in a good place in his life and maybe being able to find something that works for him. Over the span of DVDASA’s ending, I was just a kid; by the time that the Choe Show has been released- I’ve finally graduated college and (maybe) have become an ‘adult’. I might not have as great-of stories as David did in his past, but I’m glad to say that I’ve lived my own life and can be proud to say I’ve experienced things in my personal life and I thank DVDASA for providing me a life not my own. This project is something that I never thought would ever happen. I have no personal expectations nor wants from this new show of his because at the end of the day, I really truly love Choe and everybody that brought such great memories to myself and many of the listeners who have since grown-up. I’m sending much love and support to The Choe Show and can’t wait to see what’s in store for us. #davidchoe #choeshow #dvdasa https://www.instagram.com/p/CQNZPlSn4L6/?utm_medium=tumblr
