Welcome to Choice week in the Foundation classes at ActonArt!

Choice week is when we take a look at the skills the students are learning by asking them to do a more self-guided drawing - in the Beginners and Basic A classes, students are constructing base-shape monsters by starting with a body shape, then adding appendages, facial features and more. They need to follow directions but also be creative and make their own choices!

In the Basic B and Intermediate level classes, students must wisely and carefully choose between dozen of reference photos for their own drawing. Selecting something they have an understanding of how to draw and they can also complete in an hour, they then must tackle the image with base shapes, point to point drawing or any other method they’ve learned at ActonArt.

I am a part of the Choice Project and I could not be happier with my Paragard IUD and the early results and reporting on the study! Hopefully this will lead to more publicity and wider use of long-acting contraceptives. -Pearl
