Patton Oswalt as Lord High Charlie
Lord High Charlie is incredibly ridiculous, and is just very ignorant to how people view him. Oswalt is great at that type of character and just the general ignorant humor.

Shirley MacLaine as Ida
MacLaine plays a great “cynical old lady” character, and Ida is pretty much a cynical old lady.
CHOKE CASTING:
Clark Gregg as Victor
Gregg actually directed the movie version and played a minor character, but I feel he would make a better Victor. He has the subtle comedy style to do it.
