Nope! All my friends in elementary school did, but I was too busy reading The Underland Chronicles lmao. I’ve heard that they’re good for kids books, though. I’ve considered reading them, but I don’t know if I’d like them bc they’re for younger kids. I’d think I’d have to read them as a kid first to appreciate them as a teenager later

While I'm entirely and fully on the side of B as an actual human being with logic and emotions and all that fun stuff, I do still headcanon him with red eyes. Not because it makes him appear more edgy and intimidating, but because even though it's stated that a person who makes the eye deal won't show any difference in eye color, shinigami, who are created/born with them, actually do have red eyes. Since B was born with them, an actual eye color probably wouldn't have developed, leaving them red

I see your point and I think it is well thought out and I can appreciate your headcanon because of the thought and reasoning you put into it.

My problem mostly just comes when there’s literally no explanation for him having visibly red eyes and the person does it just because which from what I’ve seen is pretty often the case.

But like I said your headcanon and reasoning for him having visibly red eyes is sensible and I can get behind it.

general opinions: When I first watched Mars, it felt like Sam was a moral compass in the first episode. And then in the second episode, suddenly that’s wiped away. I kind of feel that he goes through the same development there as Gene does in his early life- which is a lovely touch, whether intentional or not. But I won’t turn this into an essay. Sam is a modern man who learns very valuable lessons in the past and he and Gene really should just get a room bonds after a while, which is lovely,

I really have to ask, have you seen Skellig yet? It's about a boy who finds a... I hesitate to say angel, because that's not quite right, living in the garden shed of his new house. John Simm plays the father in it and it's really an amazing movie (especially considering it's made for kids)
