The whispered name that fell from her lips was something he could hear over and over again, and the way she pulled him closer... Teppei took the final step, closing any distance between them, bending down, hands on the top of her thighs so he could pick her up easily without breaking their kiss. They’d just been told off by her parents for kissing in the front garden, he probably should have had more control over himself but she just looked so cute in her summer dress.

But now their were in her room, he risked picking Momoi up, settling her on his hips. He tilted his head slightly, tongue coming past as his kiss became deeper. Despite her parents being downstairs, he couldn’t quite pull away from her bubblegum kisses.

With Momoi on his shoulder, his basketball safely in her hands, he headed towards the hoop, “Oh, what’s this? A clear run for Satsuki Momoi. She’s passed the defence... and she’s gong for a dunk! Can she manage it??” he commentated as he looked up, watching her reach out for the dunk, an amused grin on his face.

He missed the fireworks all together, eyes focused on nothing but the pinkette’s reaction to the scene. This is what he had hoped for after missing Christmas all together. The corners of his lips tugged into a gentle smile, his eyes being lit by the colours of the explosions. 

He tensed slightly as thin arms wrapped around his body, though they soon automatically returned the gesture, resting his hands on the small of her back,. The scent of her apple and cinnamon shampoo reached his nose, the warm spell of the cinnamon only making him pull her a little closer. 

Bringing his head back after a moment, he moved his right hand up to just touch under her chin, tilting her head up so she wasn’t talking into his chest. Brown eyes flicked from each of her pink ones and then down to the smile on her full lips. His sharp jaw clenched, he hesitated for just a second, the rough pad of thumb traced the shape of her chin, “Told you I’d make it up” he muttered, loud enough for her to hear over the bangs that had faided into the background for Teppei. 

He wanted to kiss her then but he wasn’t sure how she’d react. He didn’t want to screw this up. But what if that was what she wanted, a kiss. Taking the ‘just do it’ route, he swallowed before tilting down, connecting their lips gently, eyes closing as he hoped not to get a slap for kissing her.
