Se consideraba una persona con una imaginación activa, pero tarde se dio cuenta de que ser creativo tenía diferentes áreas de trabajo, y definitivamente, los regalos de cumpleaños no eran lo suyo.

Teniendo en cuenta quién era el que cumplía ese día, y lo banal que resultaría ir a la tienda por alguna inutilidad pomposa, sus opciones se reducían bastante. Y no, no iría al centro comercial.

En una de las habitaciones del fondo Adam Parrish dormía acurrucado en un sillón, apenas cubierto por una manta y aún con las botas puestas luego de una noche de viaje.

Ronan entró cuidando de no hacer ruido y dejó sobre la mesa una canasta llena de ciruelas recién recogidas, manzanas doradas, un puñado de frambuesas y pan de canela. Tras él, Opal y Chainsaw entraron a trompicones, tratando de sacar algo de la canasta.

—Eh, pezuñas y garras lejos. No, no te quedes ahí, pajarraco. Y tú niña deja eso. No hagan ruido. ¡Bien, largo los dos! ¡Largo!

—¡Kerah! —dijeron ambos sueños al unísono, antes de ser sacados a empujones.

Desvió la cara y vio a Adam levantándose, frotándose un ojo y aún adormilado. Lynch le hizo un gesto con la mano para que los ignorara y señaló malamente la canasta en la mesa, ganándose una sonrisilla que le dejó mudo por unos segundos.

—Un año más viejo, perdedor. Vuelve a dormir.

Después de haber aclarado las cosas con Tobio y alistarlo para dormir, con su pijama y dientes impecables a la cama.

Dejando pasar primero a su esposo, el ex-Capitán cerró la puerta del cuarto que compartía con Suga y de forma casi inmediata se cruzó de brazos, recargándose en ésta.

Se aclaró la garganta de una forma sonora, sabía que Koushi había entendido minutos antes que tenían una conversación pendiente, así que simplemente le clavó la mirada, esperando una explicación.
