blue was just insufferable, and the only character i really liked was ronan, but there wasn't nearly enough of him

I haven’t finished the first one, but from what I read before dropping it it’s sloooooow. Also Blue... I think the author wanted to avoid a cliché female main character, but she made one in the end. None of the characters really interested me, honestly.

Hmmm (hmmmmmmmmmm...), Haruka.

I think Rin would be too embarrassed in the beginning of their relationship to share something that private, or waiting for ~the right moment~ or something like that; as for Haruka, it would take more for him to put the feeling into words, but I think he would just say it the moment he realised it, no matter what they are in the middle of. Like Rin is making dinner and bragging about how his cooking is better than Haruka’s and suddenly Haruka’s “I love you” resounds in the room and Rin thinks he’s gotten it wrong but when he turns around Haruka repeats it without a trace of embarrassment, even though he is blushing a bit, and the dinner probably ends up burnt but neither of them cares.

I do have quite abit of those actually.

Haikyuu!!: kurotsukki, kurodai, oisuga, tananoya, kenhina, ushioi and many other rare ships honestly.

BNHA: probably todobaku? It used to be tododeku but after seeing several fanarts, especially @yaboybokuto’s Anastasia au art, I’m pretty much turning into a tododeku shipper.

BSD: dazai x atsushi (not sure of their ship name)

There’s probably more but these 3 shows were the only ones that pop in my head. But do note it’s LEAST favourite anime ships; so I don’t hate those ships, just that I can’t see those ships in a romantic way at all. Thank you for the ask!! Have a nice day!! （‐＾▽＾‐）

hardest character to write

Probably Haru. MAN, he’s so complex and I’m always scared I mess up ;-; I want to believe I’ve gotten the hang of it, though. Also, I’ve only written like two No. 6 fics, but I find Nezumi quite changelling.

easiest character to write

Hmmm, maybe because I’ve read Harry Potter enough times to internalise the different characters’ personalities, but I’m pretty comfortable writing most of them.

I agree with you about YA. So many YA series I would've liked better if they stayed stand-alones...authors just don't know when to quit

I’m so torn off about YA fiction right now... On one hand I don’t want to have prejudices, but on the other... MAN, there are so many stories that are literally the same with some different terms, or series whose plot isn’t even average but are worshipped because ~diversity~ yes Clare I’m looking at you that I don’t know anymore lol

5: What is your favorite genre?

Fantasy in all its forms; from parallel worls with dragons to urban fantasy or magical realism. I love it.

19: What 5 elements would your ideal book have?

That one is difficult, since I can love almost any trope if it’s done correctly, but

DRAGONS

Some ability not all people have, be it magic, alchemy, shape-shifting...

A good villain. Preferably not one that ‘lost his/her way’, ‘made friends with the wrong people’, ‘grew up in an unhealthy family’ and gets a shitty redemption arc and ends up metaphorically sucking the good guys’ dick. I don’t dislike redemption, but please, show there’s a reason that character was a villain in the first place. Please.

A countdown until midnight. Yes it’s the biggest cliché. Yes I like it.

Love, not necessarily romantic. I’m a sucker for friendship.

21: Prefer stand alone or series?

Two years ago I’d have answered ‘series’ without missing a beat, but right now... I think it’s YA literature’s fault, but I’m sick of trilogies which drag a story who could have been easily told in one single book, just to sell more. So right now I’d rather read stand-alone books.
