*in my Khia voice* "My neck, my back, my hands & again my back!", is the reason I haven't been braiding hair in almost 2yrs now. However, I had to come on outta retirement when my Lil Sis, Tajuana, said my tween niecey, Lanae, wanted braids. She was so juiced when she left and I was happy to share that moment with her. Son-Sun sees various natural hairstyles throughout our immediate fam on a daily, likes the look and his parents have both expressed wanting to him to have locs but his hair is so soft that they didnt stay so well when I 1st attempted to do so last month via twist method. So I waited until his naptime yesterday and hooked him up w/tiny plaits that can be retwisted to loc in a few weeks or so.
