Why did i choose STEM?

Choosing the STEM track opens the door to many possibilities for successful and fruitful careers especially after pursuing further education. Secure highly respected professions in competitive industries by choosing STEM as your track.

It is important because it pervades every part of our lives. science is everywhere in the word around us. Technology is continuously expanding into every aspects of our lives. STEM provides a well rounded foundation of skills to help them understands a wide range of concepts and thrive in many industries. I want to explore and know more about science and technology and to measure my knowledge about this strand.

STEM

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is an educational approach designed to combine technology and engineering along with science and mathematics, which are vital in order to understand the laws of the universe. The University of Colombia stated that the basic question to be answered is “How can we give such a meaning to education so that children would want to remain at school, improve their performance and graduate high school with the proper knowledge in order to start their academic education and enter working market?”

What Is STEM?

STEM it stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. A comprehensive term that encompasses all of these academic fields. This word is usually applied to a school's educational policy or curriculum choice. It has consequences for labor market development, national security, and immigration policy. This strand is perfect for those who wants to be in the field of medicine, science, architecture, engineering, and many more professions that are related to technology, and mathematics  Why Should You Choose STEM? Many people which includes myself, is afraid of the STEM strand, since it has all the subjects that I don’t excel. Now that I’m almost finish with the strand, I can say that it’s not that hard, You just need to focus on your goal, study hard, and comply to all your subjects. This creates a nation where our future leaders, neighbors, and workers can comprehend and address some of the most complex challenges of today and tomorrow, and it is critical to develop students' STEM skills, content knowledge, and literacy in order to meet the demands of a dynamic and evolving workforce. Choosing the right strand for the profession that you prefer will prepare you from stepping into college, and will makes you ready for the future.

Why STEM?

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are intertwining disciplines when applied in the real world. The difference of the STEM curriculum with the other strands and tracks is the focus on advanced concepts and topics.

This strand will develop the students’ ability to evaluate simple to complex societal problems and be responsive and active in the formulation of its solution through the application and integration of scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical concepts as it prepares them to pursue college degrees that focuses on the enigma of the natural world thereby leading them to become future scientists, technological analysts and experts, engineers, mathematicians, programmers, and the like.
