Oooh! Thank you for the ask! For those who don't know, Chot and Rosa are my OCs for a novel series I'm writing!
Chot is a slightly undead man with wings who was nominated the Grim Reaper's Personal Champion to act on her behalf in the land of the living. Rosa is a fire-powered alien from a broken home who's planet is in danger and she came to the main setting, the Isle, to seek help. The 2 of them get off on the wrong foot but eventually sort out their differences and fall in love through their shared gift of flight.
3.) Most common argument?
Usually over food or who can do a task better. Rosa prefers things spicy while Chot likes it herbaceous.
When they first met, he thought she was a damsel in distress but her true abilities soon came to light and impressed him! She thought he was a dumb oaf but realized he's more emotionally intelligent than book smart.
16.) Who wants to stay in bed just a little longer?
Rosa is a Lazy Bean. She likes being warm and snuggly. Chot is a morning person. This leads to some very cute breakfasts in bed.

There's a lot of complicated feelings when it comes to these two, but when it comes right down to it, this song works because being together made them want not just to survive, but to THRIVE. Chot was content with just helping along the main quest and even when asked what he would do after, he didn't know. Rosa didn't have a bright future on her homeworld to look forward to, even though it was her duty to return.
Looking forward to seeing each other made them survive harder to get back together when separated.
Together they see a bright future in each other's arms.
