Stella is a handmaiden to her Queen, and has recently lost her father. As the only member of the Laryss family left and being a woman, she asks her queen to give her an exception to inherit her own lands. She is denied and is told to find a husband in 3 months or forfeit everything to the crown. What's a girl to do?
Maybe marry the Alien Scout that just crash-landed in the pond?
Naboluriah is a scout from the Great and Ever-Expanding Greon Empire. He was sent on a mission to scout our Solar system and report back potential worlds for conquest...until his ship broke down, crashed in 1405 Eastern Europe. Luckily, he was found and nursed back to health by his rescuer, Stella. He has to stay in hiding or risk getting murdered by the local population for being a 'monster'.
She proposes a deal.
They both get what they want if they were to marry. He could hide out in safety in her house and lands, and she gets a man who isn't interested in stealing her land, that she can drag out in a disguise now and then to show she's taken!
And no feelings will arise from this, right?

They're friendship grows into something more, and soon they can't help but fall in love!
But how do you tell the person you married (whom you agreed your marriage was in legal terms only) that you're in love with them? Especially when you can't even say their name right!?
Eventually, the truth comes to light and someone gives in. But they both have a steep learning curve when it comes to courting another species!
