“I’ve got a date in half an hour, but I just finished work and my shower’s kinda broken.” He gives an embarrassed laugh, “turns out being a mechanic does not make you qualified to fix the plumbing. Who’d have thought?”

Hidden in the trees, Ling Tong and his unit finally reach the back of Dong Zhuo’s army. They had gotten cocky, leaving their rear completely undefended in their eagerness to attack. 

With a gestured signal, Ling Tong and his men sneak out from behind the trees, still careful to make as little noise as possible. The enemy soldiers don’t even hear them coming until it’s too late, and they quickly cut down most of the enemy’s rear line before they’ve even had the chance to defend themselves.

As planned, the enemy is thrown into a panic. 

“Enemy reinforcements! Where did they come from?!” an enemy soldier shouts, further spreading chaos throughout Dong Zhuo’s forces.

Pleased that his plan had worked so well, and perfectly willing to play along, he rouses his men with a shout.

“Alright guys, let’s go reinforce our allies!”
