She’s been fighting with the doctors for a couple of weeks now as they continued to insist that it might be in Becky’s best interest to vacate her championship. Every week, she assured them that she could continue to be the Woman’s Champion. It’s gotten to the point where the choice was no longer her own. Because of an injury that she sustained due to the careless actions of her ex-boyfriend, Becky was no longer able to fulfill her duties as the RAW Women’s Champion. All she asked was one thing: that she could be the one to announce the vacancy to the world who has supported her through everything. They granted her that one wish.

As soon as she came back through that curtain, she found her arms wrapping around one individual: Drew McIntyre. He was the one person who felt truly there for her over the last few weeks. It was lonely at the top. Most of the other women felt sorry for her but it never felt genuine. Like it was out of pity and they knew that there’d be a chance for them to soon ascend to the top. Becky held onto him tightly. A few sniffles heard because all of her work over the last year has come to this. Injured and who knows when (or if) she’d be back? She and Drew had grown close, to the point where Becky questioned if she had feelings and needed that one sign to make her realize she did, but that was not a thought at the moment.

Good one, Drew, because Tegan could’ve run her mouth about Lana’s recent involvements in his rivalry with Bobby Lashley for another hour where she’d find a way to say the same thing another ten different ways. She loved NXT but she wished that she could be on RAW. Not to help her boyfriend because the last thing he was needing was help... but all she wanted was to punch Lana in the jaw. Lana was suddenly the last thing on her mind. Her boyfriend pulled in and kissed the hell out of her. “Mmm. Okay. I’ll shut up now,” she said, laughing upwards at Drew since he towered over her in height. Tegan ran her fingers over his biceps as she took in a breath of whatever scent it is that he wore. “Are ya sure that’cha don’t need me to come and slap the spit outta her? You know I’m only right down the road.”

Maybe she wouldn’t haved jumped so much out of her skin if she hadn’t been stood outside the hotel waiting an hour for someone had no intentions of showing up. The voice was familiar, warm despite having no idea what had happened. She turned ever so slightly to get a better look at him, wincing when the heel of her newly bought shoes cut into her ankle. It was embarassing for Drew to find her there, she hadn’t intended for him to ever know she was even trying to put herself out there. Even if every attempt had been a failure. “Don’t really know why I bothered...” Rory hummed, defeat already in her tone despite her previous attempts to put a brave face on around him. This was going to be the last time she was going to bother making any kind of effort, this dress was going in the trash regardless of how ‘beautiful’ he thought she looked in it. Wasn’t like he was going to do anything about it.

She rubbed at her arms, the chill of the night was beginning to get gradually more unsavoury if she didn’t make her way inside. But she couldn’t help but linger, they were alone outside here and Drew didn’t have to put up his usual guard. “Would you say that if we had an audience? Do you really think I’m beautiful?”

When the Queen wanted something; the Queen got it. That was a well-known fact amongst the locker room. It mostly applied to championships and accolades but now it applied to a man. Not just any man, but the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He always held Charlotte’s interest but never for long. He was a man capable of being a king who settled for being a knight. Respectable to a degree, but foolish nonetheless. It wasn’t until this man rose above all of the men on Monday Night RAW that he managed to secure the interest of the Queen. It took a little more convincing than she’d like - perhaps because he was a busy man with plenty of superstars aiming for that target that was now present on his back - but she got what she wanted. They were backstage when he spoke up and stopped her. He grabbed ahold of her captured her lips and Charlotte happily, eagerly kissed him back. Who cares if anyone saw them? Let them be envious of what they had. She whispered when the kiss ended and their lips moved a few centimeters from each other. “Took you long along,” the blonde champion whispered as she pushed her hand through his damp, black locks.
