This life is too short to pretend to be picture perfect. None of us have ever lived this life before, it's not suppose to be all figured out. Focus on the right now and the advancement you can make this day. Trust God today and prepare for tomorrow. One thing is for sure: Seasons change. You will not be where you are today forever. The dream may be beyond your ability but I promise it is not bigger than God's capacity. Our purpose is not born in the filtered images of our profiles. It's found in the unseen moments of perseverance and endurance where beauty is born from brokenness. Your "mess" could just become the message God will use to influence others. Let go of the lie that says you should have your life all figured out. We get so caught up in our wishing that we wish our days away and never fully embrace the season that we have right now. What may be even worse is that we find ourselves looking left and right at what “everyone else” is doing and think if our timelines don’t match up with the majority then something must be wrong with us! We’ve all felt this pressure to be somewhere we currently aren’t, so why is it we feel like we are the only ones going through these battles alone? _______ Maybe we shouldn’t try to rush this. Maybe the healing and hope we are searching for is here and now in this season. We’re just missing it because we are too busy looking beyond what is right in front of us. There is no such thing as a purposeless position in your life. One thing is for sure: seasons change. You will not be where you are today forever. God says that He is doing a new thing right before us and within us (Isaiah 43:19), so why would we give that up so our lives can measure up and mirror someone else’s timeline? If you’re lonely, lost, or looking ahead, know there is purpose to be fulfilled where you are today. Embrace your place.
