Why are Character Info pages important?
For starters it makes you think about your character and helps you make your character an original and a stand out in the game.
It also helps the people you are playing with understand and better interact with your character.
Lets look at it this way:
Characters A B and C are all standing around in a room together. Character A is well dressed, Character B is comfortably dressed. Character C is buck nekkid. Character's A and B are clearly going to react to the lack of C's clothing.
Because they are all in the same room and can each SEE the others.
