It's Sycorax time, folks!

Summary: Defeating Obake is the conclusion to phase 1 of the Big Heroverse, and marks the beginning of phase 2, which is usually when things become way bigger than before. Big Hero 6 have decided to give their super suits upgrades in order to take on villains more effectively, while some of them found opportunities to gain work experience. However, as bioengineered monsters started appearing in San Fransokyo at the same time, the heroes have no choice but to take on this harrowing new challenge. Especially Gogo, who finds herself in a difficult situation in the midst of the plot which puts her double life as a superhero, as well as her sense of judgement on the line.

WARNING, MAJOR BIG HERO 6 THE SERIES SEASON 2 SPOILERS BELOW

In Muira-horror! we got to explore a little more about a new character we met in Internabout- Liv’s “Chrissistant”. While stealing Bessie, we see this exchange between Liv and Chris, showing that clearly Chris is not a normal person, if one at all. Earlier foreshadowing includes, but is not limited to: everyone constantly calling him symmetrical and beautiful, his ability to punch through Granville’s security bot without a scratch, and his ability to leap unaided back into a vent on the raised ceiling of the SFIT lab. One popular theory floating around seems to be that he is a robot, however, if that were the case, why wouldn’t he malfunction within Bessie’s field? Also, we know he is Liv’s creation in some way, and back in s1 she even admitted that mech was “not her field of expertise.” Personally, I think he IS a living creature, but a crafted one, not born. Much like how she created the Mayoi from scratch, I think Chris is a test tube baby. Or rather- a test tube adult. I think for the most part genetically he is human, but with certain aspects enhanced and “perfected”, such as strength and appearance. Liv is constantly fixated on making things beautiful- she’s mentioned how pretty/beautiful/appealing her work is on multiple occasions throughout the season. Why wouldn’t she want to make a “perfect” looking human for herself? As a pet, as she makes clear in Muira-horror!. And if Chris IS a biological creation from Sycorax itself, he certainly wasn’t the first attempt, and considering his success, won’t be the last. And I can’t stop thinking about the idea of an OC that is one of these test tube people, thrust into the world at a certain age, and having to struggle with realizing (once they gather their own sentience) that there’s more to the world than sub level 7 of Sycorax and that they were deprived of a childhood. I just think all of it’s a neat idea, so I wanted to share!
