Obviously these little finger taps are adorable, but have you noticed:

Charlie's and Nick's elbows seem to already be touching before Charlie moves to tap Nick's hand. (And if they weren't before, they certainly seem to be after.)

We don't actually see Nick move his pinkie away, so it's possible that he just...didn't, and left it there, resting against Charlie's hand.

Even if it's unlikely that Nick left his pinkie there for the rest of the period, it seems very likely that they're leaving their arms pressed together.

today i tried to start making a steph brown fic rec list by going into my ao3 bookmarks and then saw how few steph fics are in my bookmarks and then immediately went like: oh no im a fake steph brown fan

#i am such a ridiculous person.#the answer is:#my memory is so bad and i dont remember many steph fics that i have read #my memory is so bad and i am also bad at remembering to bookmark fics i like so i REALLY dont remember many steph fics ive read #i just have specific taste!! i did start writing steph fic so there would be fic about steph that caters to my very specific taste!!!#most of my fic reading time was replaced by fic writing time for the past couple years also thats another contributing factor #oh god steph is tagged in more fics ive written than i have bookmarked #im getting a bad grade in reading fic about women.......#this is lowkey so embarrassing for me #but like ok ok ok. so when i go into batman fic land its too big to navigate willy nilly #my go to filters are: category: gen + include tag hurt/comfort + complete only around half the time?#i like reading incomplete works but i generally need to separate like. reading complete vs incomplete you know what i mean #and then include specific characters and then filter word count based on how much time i have #for batman i tend to go into batman: comics and also exclude miraculous ladybug + danny phantom + mcu and sometimes white collar #if i remember to do so and then because steph is a supporting character most of the time #sometimes i search for appearances of the word steph in the summary and variations thereupon #doing so brings you down to a grand total of 81 works with “Stephanie” in the summary and 53 with “Steph”#soooooooooooooo #oh wow im a solid 16% of those 81 fics with “Stephanie” in the summary thats wild #something something about how its easy for me to find my fics with the filters i like using like wow. who coulda guessed #stephanie brown-centric has 564 fics #filtering for gen only brings you to 346 #and filtering for hurt/comfort then brings you to 84 which lines up pretty well!! and im 4.8% of those hell yeah hell yeah #anyways yeah finding fics is so hard #with thanks and love to everyone who reads a lot of fic and then makes fic rec lists or collections etc etc youre doing underrated work
