OKAY! Bruce Dickinson concert recap! The concert was SO AMAZING! He never ceases to amaze me the set list was SO GOOD I will not spoil it HOWEVER there is a big surprise. I loved the set list but I can say I liked the set list from the last tour better. Oh well I still enjoyed it so much. Bruce is so silly and I love him but I was one person behind barricade and he was super tall so my view of him was obstructed. Philip smiled at me which was cool Bruce’s eyes caught mine a few times and Tanya is literally SO COOL she’s really that girl and is so beautiful and Chris…. HES SO FINE LIKE GODDDDD #needthat. Anyways a fight broke out in the pit which is really scary cause I saw some guys yelling and then the guy just started swinging and I see a fist come straight to me but the guy next to me pushed me out of the way and just kept me out of the way. So shout out to that guy! Very sweet and we had a good time joking and just singing all the songs with our whole heart such a good night. My outfit was SO CUTE but I will not be posting it but it’s on my insta! Same with a bunch of videos

Behold! My review and photos have been published in FEMMUSIC of Bruce Dickinson's Mandrake Project in Denver, CO on September 30th, 2025.
Review snippet:
When Bruce Dickinson and his House Band from Hell hit the stage in Denver, the opening industrial grind of “Accident of Birth” slammed into the awaiting fans like a freight train. As Bruce howled, “Welcome home, it’s been too long, we’ve missed you,” the crowd erupted, releasing nearly two decades of pent-up anticipation. This was Bruce’s first Denver solo show since 2005, and the energy was nothing short of volcanic.
The lighting rig bathed the stage in moody reds and purples, poetically fitting for a concept tour steeped in occult sci-fi atmosphere. From the very first note, it was clear this wasn’t an Iron Maiden nostalgia trip. This was the return of Bruce Dickinson, the solo artist: fierce, unapologetic, and entirely on his own.
Bruce’s vocals were razor sharp, his legendary “Air Raid Siren” piercing through the rafters with astonishing power. Backed by the formidable House Band from Hell (Tanya O’Callaghan on bass, Mistheria on keys, Dave Moreno on drums, Philip Näslund and Chris Declercq on guitars) attacked the material with authority, and reimagined the songs into something even bigger than the records.
The setlist spanned Bruce’s solo universe, with the notable exception of any songs from Skunkworks and Tattooed Millionaire. “The Chemical Wedding” burned with apocalyptic fire, while “Book of Thel” oozed menace. “Gods of War” stomped with a swagger that made the original studio version feel like a demo, “Abduction” felt like an unstoppable anthem that tore through the venue as if built to flatten stadiums.
Denver’s faithful gave everything back, chanting, screaming, even shedding tears. When Bruce leaned into the crowd, it felt less like a gig and more like a ritual. Between songs, he cracked jokes, spun macabre tales, and delivered them with the theatrical gravitas of a Shakespearean metal preacher with the guiding hand of the poet William Blake.
Not everything was perfect --

I ACTUALLY TOOK PICTURES THIS TIME. But just barely, as Bruce has seemingly started to use the venue security to crack down on people taking pictures/recording. 👎 And I get it, being in the moment, etc, but I feel like there can be a happy medium that would allow me to have a few keepsake photos that weren't frantically snuck by keeping my phone only just above the barrier. Ah well.
ANYWAY both of the shows I attended were absolutely amazing!! I personally think the Silver Spring show was ever-so-slightly better (Bruce just nailed absolutely everything in Silver Spring; every note was perfect, not a single fumbled lyric, not a single misstep with timing, utter perfection), but both were undeniably killer shows. Bruce was so chatty in Silver Spring, but very smiley in Philadelphia, it was glorious.
I splurged for both shows and upgraded to early access, so I was able to be right at the barrier both times and it was brilliant, absolutely worth it if you can do it. I was so close to Bruce for the Philly show particularly, not only could I see the sweat on his skin, but I could literally see droplets of it dripping off his arms to the floor and from his earlobes onto his shoulders. (It was a hot show in general, and I'm sure the stage was even hotter with the lights.) And I made the audience shot for the Philly show!! I look terrible lol but still!
And because I'm Extra™, I had to Make a Thing to wear to the show so I made THIS
The only things I didn't make myself were the backpatch and the Sacred Cowboys patch; everything else is either embroidery (the plane, microphone, and fencing foil are simple line embroidery, and the MANDRAKE word patch is cross stitch), or print-and-iron-on paper, and the giant Mandrake "M" symbol was a stencil and bleach. I was really hoping to get it signed by Bruce and the band at the stagedoor, but unfortunately no dice. Ah well, luck of the draw, I'll try again in the future.
ANYWAY I WISH I COULD SEE MORE SHOWS BUT I'M SO GLAD FOR THE TWO I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO ATTEND ❤️
Thank you Vegas! Phoenix… you’re up next!
