One of my Facebook friends is a painter by the name of Chris Fabbri. Check out his work. He mainly does portraits of pop culture icons, but he also dabbles in scenic art and still life. He not only paints on traditional canvases, but he's also done work on cardboard and records as well. His style is planted firmly in reality, yet there is a tinge of surrealism to his work. I've spoken to him consistently over the years and he's a nice fellow as well!
