Just explain to Eilidh that babies don't realize yet they should hold their breath underwater so dunking is a no-no and she'll get it! /Then/ she'd just hold Kyrie and let her splash around
".... Are there not many babies where you're from?" He thought it was odd she wouldn't know something he saw as common sense at first. But then remembered that even in normal places, bad/stupid parents exist. After he gets permission though, he'll help Eilidh with how to handle a baby. How to hold Kyrie. Tell her to just hand the princess over if she starts crying. Etc.
